First in Glass

Acknowledging your glazing skills, knowledge and attitude is important. At the end of each off-job training course, one person will be awarded First in Class. That puts this person into the pool for the industry Apprentice of the Year.

Apprentice of the Year

This is a prestigious industry award. You must be nominated by your Glazing Tutor, Boss, or Training Advisor. The award is presented to the winner at the Window and Glazing Association of NZ annual Gala Dinner. The winner receives a financial prize, flights, and accommodation to attend the Gala Dinner and their name engraved on the Allan Sage Memorial Award Cup.

Most Promising Apprentice

This award sets you apart from your mates. This award celebrates your skill, knowledge, and growth. It acknowledges your journey to becoming an outstanding Glazier. You are nominated by your Training Advisor and Glass and Glazing Tutor. The award is presented at the Window and Glazing Association of NZ annual Gala Dinner. The winner receives a financial prize, flights, and accommodation to attend the Gala Dinner.
